As I have mentioned recently elsewhere on this blog, I have a contemporary romance under contract with Entangled Publishing. I can’t give away too many details yet, but I can say that it is set in Fort Worth, Texas, close to my own hometown and one of my favorite places in the world, and that one of my favorite scenes takes place during the twice-daily longhorn cattle drive in the Stockyard district.
For more information about the cattle drive or the Fort Worth Stockyards, check out the official website: http://www.fortworthstockyards.org/

Things coming back to life.
anything with an HEA
It would have to be the flowers that bloom.
Favorite type of romance novel for me is one that has the HEA even though they go through a lot to get there.

I love the scents and sounds of spring.
When my Dad had a farm/ranch in Southern California next to the Colorado River, we often went as a family to Phoenix and visited the Cattlemen’s Stockyards there. We got so familiar with it and the terrific restaurant they had there and where we always ate after business–that the smell didn’t even bother us! My Dad called it “green gold.” 🙂 Springtime on our farm/ranch meant baby chicks, baby lambs and ducks, piglets and calves –we had everything. New Life! Thanks for the blog post and the tour participation. jdh2690@gmail.com
