Betrayed by the Alien Bride Lottery – a New #Kickstarter Perk in the Alien Bride Lottery Project! #hardcover #alienromance

Hi, y’all! We just reached the 9th stretch goal in The Alien Bride Lottery Kickstarter Project!

I’ll be writing a second Alien Bride Lottery story entitled Betrayed by the Alien Bride Lottery to be sent to every backer digitally in January 2023. And I’ve added some gorgeous space-themed printable bookmarks as a bonus perk.

For the next stretch goal, I’ll send an audio annotation of the first book, Entered in the Alien Bride Lottery,  to all backers at the $5 and above level.

We’re down to the last ten days of the campaign! Anyone who pledges between now and August 14 will get these bonus books, so I’d love it if you continued getting the word out about The Alien Bride Lottery Kickstarter project.

In case you missed it before:

I’m already planning out my next couple of projects—but I’d like to get your input on which one(s) I should set up as Kickstarters first! None of these will go live before the current Alien Bride Lottery Kickstarter is done, of course, but I’ll need to start gathering up the extras that I’ll be giving away as bonuses during the Kickstarter run.

Right now, I’ve got six possible series ideas. Five of these are connected to new series: Alien Guardians, Alien War Brides, Abracadabra Apocalypse, Shadow Chronicles, or Borrowed Wings. OR I could use Kickstarter to finish out my Star Mate Interstellar Shifters series. You can see some of the covers from the projects below, and I’d love it if you took the quiz to let me know which one I should start with!

Remember to Enter to Win

And as long as you’re sharing information about the campaign anyway, you should enter for the chance to win an exclusive Alien Romance Premium Swag Pack! (These are different from the goodies available via Kickstarter, just FYI.)

While I continue to decide what to do next time, please do continue to support this campaign by sharing the info about the book and rewards with a friend!

Stretch Goal 8 & Surprise Bonus 9: Unlocked

This stretch goal includes a signed bookmark, and the surprise bonus is an exclusive digital sticker of a cute alien. This little guy just might make an appearance in one of the bonus stories I’m writing for this campaign!

Remember, the second brand-new Alien Bride Lottery story is the bonus for reaching the very next stretch goal. I’ve already started writing, so you can check out a short excerpt below. EXCERPT

Vos Klavoii, the director of the Bride Games, gave a predatory smile, his teeth shining white against his neon-green skin. “You should have told us you were engaged to a human man. Your fiancé seemed quite desperate to make sure you made it home safely.”

“My fiancé?” My voice rose to a squeak at the end of the word. “He told you we were going to be married? That’s not true. I never accepted his proposal. I never even took the ring he tried to give me. He’s the entire reason I’m here—I was running away from him.”

“That’s not what Mr. Romano told us.”

“Ask Bian! I told him the whole story.” At that moment, I wished more than anything that I had accepted the sexy, hot pink alien’s offer to accompany me to this meeting.

Klavoii shrugged carelessly, the movement just a little too practiced to be believable. “Your fiancé was quite convincing. Especially when he told me there was a reward for your safe return.”

I spun around, looking for an escape route from Klavoii’s office.

But even if I could get out of here, where could I escape to? I was on a space station. There were only two ways off Station 21: use a transporter or take a ship. But I didn’t have access to the transporter tubes. And I didn’t know how to fly one of the spaceships docked in the hangars.

A round, porthole-style window to one side of Klavoii’s desk caught my attention. Through it, I could see stars shining in the deep black of space.

Make that three ways.

I could leave the space station through one of the airlocks Bian had shown me on our tour.

It wasn’t the worst death I could imagine, stepping out into the cold nothingness.

At least it wouldn’t take long. I’d be dead in a matter of moments.

There was only one problem.

I wanted to live.

Betrayed by the Alien Bride Lottery: Available only via the Alien Bride Lottery Kickstarter IF we hit the next stretch goal!

New July Bonus Perks

Also, for anyone who backs the campaign by the end of the day on July 31, I have added three new ebook bonus perks! Anyone who has already backed the campaign will receive these, as well.

Cold-Blooded Lover ~ Excerpt #mafiaromance #contemporaryromance #MFRWBookHooks

Available on Amazon

She’s not the woman he meant to kidnap–but she may just be the woman he needs.

Massimiliano Beneventi

I told my father the cartel Colombians were not to be trusted. Now he’s dead, along with my eldest brother, and I’m left in charge of the family. I’ve declared vengeance on the killer who took out the only people I love. And I know exactly how I’ll exact my revenge: I’ll take his daughter and make her my own. After all, he owes me a family.

Valentina Velazquez

In the worst case of mistaken identity ever, Mafia Prince Max Beneventi kidnaps me instead of the Colombian Cartel Princess he’s after. He’s cold-blooded and brutal, and if he learns of his mistake, I’m sure he’ll kill me. Escape is my only hope for survival. But the longer I’m with him, the more I crave what only he can give me.

“Cold-Blooded Lover” is the first book in the King of Clubs series. It is a stand-alone Dark Mafia Enemies-to-Lovers Kidnapping Romance, complete with HEA and no cliffhangers.

Please note: this book is a dark mafia romance that contains mature content, graphic violence and may contain triggers. If such materials offend you, please do not read.

EXCERPT

We reach the bottom of the stairs leading onto the tarmac, and there’s another black car waiting for us. But this one is not a sedan—it’s a sports car of some kind, sleek, shiny, and low to the ground.

Standing next to it is the single most gorgeous man I have ever seen in my entire life. He’s tall and muscular, but not as thick and burly as the goons he sent to kidnap me. Like Goon Number Two, he’s got dark hair and eyes, but no visible tattoos.

Massimiliano Beneventi, I assume. Because this has to be the boss, given the way the people around me are acting.

I don’t care, though. I tilt up my chin and firm my jaw, determined not to let him see me in misery.

His dark eyes bore into me, and something hot flickers in their depths as he scans me from head to toe.

My stomach clenches, but this time it’s not from fear—it’s pure lust, and it spreads through my whole body. I can feel it radiating off me in waves, and when his mouth quirks up into a grin, I know he sees it, too.

“Hello, Valentina. I’m glad you made it here safely,” he says, but I can hear something under his voice—some kind of sexual heat that burns through me as he gazes into my eyes.

I clench my teeth together, determined not to speak to this monster who has taken me from my perfectly normal life and brought me into something terrifying.

Dating an Alien: The Pros and Cons

There are plenty of reasons to love alien romance novels. They’re often incredibly imaginative and can take us to places we’ve never been before. But what if you found yourself actually dating an alien? Would it be all sunshine and roses? Here are a few possible pros and cons to help you decide.

On the plus side, aliens are often portrayed as being very understanding and patient creatures. They know what it’s like to be different, so they would probably be very accepting of any quirks or idiosyncrasies you might have.

Then again, there are many pros and cons to dating an alien, just as there are with dating anyone else.

One pro is that they come from a different perspective and might be able to help you see things in a new light. Also, they have the potential to be very exciting and adventurous, since everything about them is new to you. On the downside, aliens might not always understand human customs or emotions, which can lead to misunderstandings.

One pro of dating an alien is that they might be able to help you expand your perspective.

If you’re considering dating an alien, there are a few things you should consider. On the plus side, they come from a different perspective and might be able to help you see things in a new light. They might also be more open-minded than humans when it comes to relationships.

However, there are some downsides to dating an alien. They may not be able to understand human emotions and behavior, which can lead to misunderstandings. There’s also the possibility that they have completely different values and beliefs than you do, which could make for a very challenging relationship.

Another pro is that aliens have the potential to be very exciting.

When you date an alien, you’re dating someone who is completely new to you. There’s no need to worry about your partner getting bored with you because everything about you is exciting and adventurous–and the reverse is true, too! They might not be from your home planet, but that just means that you have brand-new, interesting stories and experiences to share with each other. So if you’re looking for something new and exciting in a relationship, dating an alien may be the perfect option for you.

A downside of dating an alien is that the potential for misunderstandings.

A downside of dating an alien is that they might not always understand human customs or emotions, which can lead to misunderstandings. For example, if you are feeling sad and your alien partner tries to cheer you up by doing a handstand, it might not be the reaction you were hoping for. Additionally, aliens may not have the same understanding of social cues as humans do, so they might unintentionally say or do something that offends you–or other humans around you. However, if you are patient and willing to teach your partner about human customs and emotions, dating an alien could be a fun and rewarding experience.

If you can’t find your own spicy hot alien to date, check out some of these books to get your alien groove on!

You’d think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you’d be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they’ve left their cargo of human women – including me – on an ice planet.

And the only native inhabitant I’ve met? He’s big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me…

I woke from cryostasis a prisoner. My crime? I have no idea.
I was stuck with a hundred other women, all headed to who knows where. Captive in a dank, dirty cargo hold.
Then, out of the darkness, came Solair.
A handsome alien. Golden skinned. Horned. The dashing captain of a pirate ship. They rescued us–he gave my people food, shelter, and promised us safety. In exchange?
He took me for himself.
But the people who captured us, haven’t given up. They want us back. They’re powerful and will do whatever it takes to find us. The only thing stopping them?
Solair.

He wants me. And what he takes…
He keeps.

A middle aged science teacher who feels unloved and unwanted meets
Three huge alien warriors desperate to find their Queen
When Terra agrees to go on a quest with V’rone, Tem, and Rive
Will she end up as…the Queen of their Colony?

Excerpt

In the kitchen, two vampires still stood guard at the exit into the garage. Reaching into my purse, I pulled out the first metal object I touched and brandished it at the vampire guards.

“Get out of our way, or I will…” My voice trailed off as I glanced down at what I was holding. Then I rallied and continued speaking. “This spoon might not look dangerous. But it’s silver, and I’m a Chosen One.”

One of the guards snickered, and I took a threatening step toward him, lowering my voice. “Do you really want to bet against me? I can shove this spoon into your chest and scoop out your heart without ever breaking a sweat.”

Excerpt

I stood over a pile of bubbling red goo slowly spreading out and sinking into the surrounding dirt. I glanced back and forth between the sludge pile and the small tree branch in my hand, finally forcing my fingers to uncurl. The stick tumbled from my nerveless grip, hit the thin strip of struggling grass at my feet, and then bounced off the curb and clattered into the parking space next to my car.

“What the hell just happened?” I was sure I had spoken the words aloud, but I couldn’t hear them.

As if from a distance, the echo of sharp voices tumbled against me, cutting into the numbness cushioning me from reality.

“Go, go, go!”

My heart pounded in time to the shouted instructions.

Helmeted figures in dark clothes poured out of the back of a black van parked three rows over in the otherwise almost-empty parking lot.

A SWAT team?

The soldiers swarmed around me, buzzing like bees, their voices distorted by the helmets—or possibly by something in my brain.

I glanced back down at the pile of clumpy red jelly at my feet, then gagged as I remembered what it really was.

“Ma’am,” a woman’s voice next to me said, and I realized she had been repeating it for several seconds.

I lifted my gaze toward her more slowly than I intended. “Yes?”

My voice sounded as far away as theirs had seconds ago.

Her tone turned even more intense, as if that were possible. “Ma’am, did he bite you anywhere?”

My hand crept up to my neck, and I rubbed at it absently, pulling my palm away to check for blood. “I don’t think so,” I finally answered, holding my clean fingers out for her to see. “He tried, though.”

The woman in uniform next to me popped her visor open. “We’ll need to have our medics check you out, but I think you’re right.” She cast an experienced gaze over me. “No blood,” she announced to her team. “Time to clean up this mess.”

The commandos grabbed my arms and tugged me off the strip of landscaping. I stumbled away, and they began sweeping across the red clumps with flamethrowers, sending black smoke curling into the sky.
