I read this book in one sitting. It showed up on my Kindle, I started it, and I didn’t sleep (or move or eat or anything) until I’d finished it. It was that good.
As usual with Byrne’s novels, it’s tightly plotted and well written. I especially loved the darkness in Alexandra’s past–it gave the novel even more depth. Also, Redmayne’s reaction when he discovers the truth is absolutely spot-on realistic and perfect for his character.
How to Love a Duke in Ten Days is exactly what a historical romance should be. Five stars!
