Welcome to the Lucky is Reading Blog Hop! Today, I have a giveaway for you of a fabulous book that I feel lucky to have read!
Whenever Ilona Andrews (a husband-and-wife writing team) comes out with a new book, I grab it immediately, because I know I’m going to love it! Clean Sweep was no exception. So why do I feel lucky to have read it? Two reasons: first, it appears to be self-published, and whether that’s because they wanted to try out hybrid authorship, or because their publishers didn’t want the book (or some other reason altogether), the existence of indie publishing means that the book was available. Any other time in publishing history, it might not have been. And second, this novel plays with the whole “vampire vs. werewolf in competition for the magical heroine’s love” trope in some hysterical ways!
So take a moment to check the book out, then check out my own vampire novel (on sale for $.99 March 8-14), and finally, HOP to the rest of the posts to see what else is up for grabs!

On the outside, Dina Demille is the epitome of normal. She runs a quaint Victorian Bed and Breakfast in a small Texas town, owns a Shih Tzu named Beast, and is a perfect neighbor, whose biggest problem should be what to serve her guests for breakfast. But Dina is…different: Her broom is a deadly weapon; her Inn is magic and thinks for itself. Meant to be a lodging for otherworldly visitors, the only permanent guest is a retired Galactic aristocrat who can’t leave the grounds because she’s responsible for the deaths of millions and someone might shoot her on sight. Under the circumstances, “normal” is a bit of a stretch for Dina.
And now, something with wicked claws and deepwater teeth has begun to hunt at night….Feeling responsible for her neighbors, Dina decides to get involved. Before long, she has to juggle dealing with the annoyingly attractive, ex-military, new neighbor, Sean Evans—an alpha-strain werewolf—and the equally arresting cosmic vampire soldier, Arland, while trying to keep her inn and its guests safe. But the enemy she’s facing is unlike anything she’s ever encountered before. It’s smart, vicious, and lethal, and putting herself between this creature and her neighbors might just cost her everything.

From March 8-14, my own vampire novel Legally Undead will be on sale in ebook for $.99!
http://www.amazon.com/Legally-Undead-Vampirarchy-Margo-Collins-ebook/dp/B00KKV44BK/
A reluctant vampire hunter, stalking New York City as only a scorned bride can.
Elle Dupree has her life all figured out: first a wedding, then her Ph.D., then swank faculty parties where she’ll serve wine and cheese and introduce people to her husband the lawyer.
But those plans disintegrate when she walks in on a vampire draining the blood from her fiancé Greg. Horrified, she screams and runs–not away from the vampire, but toward it, brandishing a wooden letter opener.
As she slams the improvised stake into the vampire’s heart, a team of black-clad men bursts into the apartment. Turning around to face them, Elle discovers that Greg’s body is gone—and her perfect life falls apart.
