I’ve long been a fan of shifter romances—I love the Stray series by Rachel Vincent, the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn, the shifter elements of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. And now Bethany Shaw has joined my list of shifter series to read!

There are some relatively typical elements—the tough alpha male and the sweet “girl next door” plays out in pretty much the expected way, but then, that’s why readers love these kinds of series! And Devon and Lark have some lovely, electric chemistry.

The cliffhanger-y ending left me gasping for more, so now I’m on my way to pick up the next book in the series. Don’t look for me online for a while—I’ll be reading. 🙂
